After Kanye’s 2008 Grammy Award-worn Nike Air Yeezy 1s sold for a world record $1.8 million, Sotheby’s have another premium pair of sneakers on the market.
Michael Jordan’s rookie season shoes is expected to sell for at least $100,000 [€82,420] if not more at an online auction next month. Reuters reports that an identical pair of Jordan 1s, which included MJ’s autograph scribbled on them, sold for $560,000 [€461,552] at an auction last year.
Jordan’s shoes will be part of a 13 pair sale in a match-worn collection titled “Gamers Only” which includes sneakers from NBA legends and current stars including Patrick Ewing, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Scottie Pippen and Stephen Curry.

Sotheby’s revealed that Jordan’s shoes, which were designed by Nike’s creative director Peter Moore, are sized 13 and 13.5.
