Zlatan flips table after dressing room speech to teammates, coaches

As AC Milan celebrated their first Serie A triumph in almost two years, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was filmed flipping a table in the dressing room.

Milan were named Italian champions for the first time since 2011, defeating local rivals Inter by two points in a 3-0 victory against Sassuolo.

Ibrahimovic smoked a cigar in celebration after the match, demonstrating the extent of the delight in the Milan camp.

There were also impassioned celebrations in the dressing room, headed by the Swedish striker, according to footage provided by Milan’s official media.

Before flipping a table amid all the chaos, the 40-year-old told teammates and coaches: “Guys, stay calm. I’m not about to say goodbye!

“From day one, when I arrived and then a few others arrived, very few believed in us. But then we realised we needed to make sacrifices, suffer, believe and work.

“When this happened we became a group and when you’re a group you can achieve the things we’ve achieved. Now we’re champions of Italy.

“First of all I want to thank all the players. I’m now talking on behalf of the team, we need to thank Paolo [Maldini], Ricky [Massara] and Ivan [Gazidis]. It hasn’t been easy but we’ve been a real group this season.
