PSG grabbed the lead in the match courtesy to Kylian Mbappe’s stunning strike, but Andre Silva and Nordi Mukiele’s goals put the visitors up 2-1.
For all intents and purposes, it appeared like Mauricio Pochettino’s team would lose, but then Messi showed up and delivered the goods for the Parisians.
Following some excellent play by Mbappe in the build-up, the 34-year-old equalized in the 67th minute, the Argentine tapping in from close range after striking the inside of the post.
Then, seven minutes later, Messi scored from the penalty spot to put his club up 3-2, and he did so with the most delectable Panenka imaginable.

But despite Mbappe’s gaffe from the spot, PSG now sit top of their Champions League group following the 3-2 victory over Leipzig.
The hosts were granted another penalty just before the full-time whistle at the Parc des Princes, and it appeared like Messi would score his first hat-trick for PSG.
Mbappe, on the other hand, took the initiative and sent a reckless attempt over the crossbar.
Despite Mbappe’s penalty miss, PSG still leads their Champions League group after a 3-2 win against Leipzig.
