Kid Cudi has released a song for the upcoming film Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Below is the music video for “Stars in the Sky.” On Friday, April 8, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will be released in theaters.
Kid Cudi released two new tracks for movies last year: “Guns Go Bang” for The Harder They Fall and “Just Look Up” for Don’t Look Up. Both songs were on the Oscars’ Best Original Song shortlist in 2022, however none was nominated. In recent years, Cudi has acted in films such as X, Don’t Look Up, and Bill & Ted Face the Music, as well as the documentary A Man Named Scott. On the horizon, he will appear in Teddy, which will premiere on September 17th.
Man on the Moon III: The Chosen, Kid Cudi’s most recent studio album, was released in December 2020.
