The official trailer for biographical film ‘King Richard’ was released on Wednesday as Will Smith plays the role as Serena and Venus Williams’ Father and Coach.
The drama production, directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, documents the true story on the success of the Williams’ sisters not just as tennis players, but as athletes. Their father Richard played an integral role in their development, who started coaching the pair at a young age.
While the public and media spotlight has continued to be on Serena and Venus throughout their careers, there has been internal and external hardships that the family have faced.
