The first trailer for Jurassic World Dominion, the last installment in the Chris Pratt/Bryce Dallas Howard-led dinosaur trilogy, has been released by Universal Pictures.
Richard Attenborough as John Hammond, the inventor of the titular Jurassic Park in Steven Spielberg’s 1993 film, introduces the new Dominion teaser with a voiceover. Jeff Goldblum as Ian Malcolm, Sam Neill as Alan Grant, and Laura Dern as Ellie Sattler are among the returning cast members. Henry Wu is played by B.D. Wong, who has previously acted in the Park and World films.
The new Jurassic World, directed by Colin Trevorrow, is the sequel to 2018’s Fallen Kingdom, which saw dinosaurs auctioned off to the affluent on the mainland.
Dominion, which is set to hit cinemas on June 10, 2022, has been plagued by COVID-19-related delays. Production was interrupted in March 2020, and then resumed a few months later. Last year, director and co-writer Trevorrow released a five-minute prologue to the picture, which he first showed during screenings of F9. Trevorrow stated that the prologue was supposed to be the first five minutes of the movie, but he later altered his mind.
