WATCH: Hilarious moment as pizza delivery kid turns up at Europa League tie

It’s hard enough working in a fast-paced environment as a pizza delivery kid during a pandemic but this unlucky lad found himself in front of a global televised audience.

In the 20th minute of the first leg Round of 32 Europa League match between Molde and Hoffenheim in Villarreal, Spain, a pizza delivery driver arrived at the Estadio de la Cerámica.

The timing couldn’t have been any worse for the poor guy, who arrived in the background whilst Hoffenheim’s Mijat Gaćinović was receiving treatment from physios.

It’s unknown as to how the driver found himself in this strange situation carrying two pizza boxes and a bottle of coca cola, but for us spectators, it was comedy gold as social media activity relating to the incident was in full force.
