Users will now be able to “Rage Shake” their phone to report an issue on Instagram

Instagram has updated its iOS and Android applications to include a new feature that allows users to ‘Rage Shake’ their phones to report an issue.

For the time being, the image-sharing service has only made the option available to customers in the United States, allowing them to easily report any concerns they encounter while using the app. Instagram has also improved image posting, making it easier for users to delete individual photographs from a carousel after it has been published. This feature is now only accessible on iOS devices.

In a video on Twitter, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri highlighted the new function, saying that users would be able to swiftly notify the business about any difficulties they encounter on the app. The app already has an issue reporting option called “Did something go wrong?” that users may find under Help > Report a problem in the Settings menu. When a phone is ‘rage shaken’ while using the app, the problem reporting screen appears, making it quicker to report an issue without having to rummage through the settings menu.
