UFC star Conor McGregor arrested over alleged dangerous driving

According to the Irish Independent, UFC star Conor McGregor was arrested in Dublin on Tuesday evening for “alleged road traffic violations.”

Driving his Bentley Continental GT, valued at around €170,000, he was travelling along the N4 between Lucan and Palmerstown when he came to garda attention.

McGregor’s automobile was seized after his detention, but it was later given to him, according to the article.

McGregor was allegedly taken to a police station and charged before being freed on bail. In April, the 33-year-old athlete is set to appear in a district court.

“Mr McGregor was heading to the gym when gardai (Irish police) pulled him over for alleged traffic infractions. “He passed the station’s drug and alcohol tests,” a representative for McGregor said.

After suffering an ankle injury, Conor McGregor lost his last UFC fight to Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
