In the Premier League, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have combined to score 37 goals, setting a new record for the combined record for combinations.
In Tottenham’s 4-0 triumph against Leeds on Saturday, Kane’s probing through pass was greeted by Son, who slotted past Illan Meslier to capture the record outright.
Son’s assist for Kane in last week’s win over Manchester City tied them with Chelsea’s Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard for the most Premier League goal combinations with 36.
Sergio Aguero and David Silva of Manchester City, as well as Thierry Henry and Robert Pires of Arsenal, were their closest rivals, partnering on 29 times in their respective Premier League careers.
Last season, Kane and Son set a new record for the most goal combinations in a single season, combining 14 times. The England captain went on to win the Premier League Golden Boot as well as the Playmaker Award.
