According to TMZ, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are not living together as they work through a “rough patch” in their marriage as a result of his decision to unretire.
Page Six was informed earlier this month by sources that Bündchen left for Costa Rica after a “series of heated arguments” about his decision to rejoin the NFL less than two months after declaring his retirement. “His decision to unretire has caused problems in the marriage. Gisele has always been the mom, according to a source. They had made plans for him to retire and devote himself to his family, but he later changed his mind.
Brady missed 11 days of the recent training camp. The quarterback’s absence was “excused,” according to Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles, who told reporters that he needed time to “deal with some personal things,” according to NBC Sports.
Brady responded to questions about his absence during the post-game press conference after returning to the field for the Buccaneers’ last preseason game.“It’s all personal…everyone’s got different situations they’re dealing with. We all have really unique challenges to our life,” he said. “I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of shit going on, so you just have to try and figure out life the best you can. You know, it’s a continuous process.”
