Tiger Woods left with multiple leg injuries in fatal Los Angeles car crash

Tiger Woods is currently undergoing surgery in a local hospital after a car crash in California has left the golf legend with multiple leg injuries – his agent confirmed on Tuesday.

Officers stated that as quoted by Hollywood Unlocked, “at approximately 7:12 AM,  LASD responded to a single-vehicle roll-over traffic collision on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Ranchos Palos Verdes. The vehicle was traveling northbound on Hawthorne Boulevard, at Blackhorse Road, when it crashed. The vehicle sustained major damage.”

Officials revealed that the “driver and sole occupant was identified as PGA golfer, Eldrick ‘Tiger’ Woods. Mr. Woods was extricated from the wreck with the ‘jaws of life’ by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics, then transported to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries,” TMZ quotes via Hollywood Unlocked.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident as no further details have been shared on his condition as the 45-year-old was driving to his annual Genesis Invitational golf tournament at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades.

Whilst it’s unknown as to what caused the accident, TMZ Sports reveal that a source from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department believe that there was no alcohol involved.
