The Weeknd has teased new music from the soundtrack of Avatar: The Way of Water, which will be released in theaters later this month.
On Sunday morning, The Weeknd released a video containing an audio clip coupled with the iconic logo of Avatar on social media. The caption includes the date “12.16.22,” which is the movie’s premiere date and was directed by James Cameron.
The partnership was subsequently verified by the official Avatar movie Twitter account, which shared a video in which the account follows the Weeknd. The caption stated, “#AvatarTheWayOfWater x @theweeknd.”
Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, Zoe Saldaa as Neytiri, Sigourney Weaver as Dr. Grace Augustine, and Stephen Lang as Colonel Miles Quaritch will all return for Avatar: The Way of Water.
Kate Winslet, Michelle Yeoh, Edie Falco, Vin Diesel, and Oona Chaplin are just a few of the actors joining the group.
