The first footage from the ‘Halo’ TV series teases a trailer reveal at the Game Awards

A brief teaser for Paramount+’s new Halo TV series has been released ahead of the premiere of the show’s first-look trailer. The first-look trailer will premiere at The Game Awards on Thursday, December 9, delivering the first extended look at the show since it was approved for 10 episodes in 2018.

The footage comes from the series’ official Twitter account, and it shows a vast hangar full with soldiers, airships, and the series’ famed Spartans all prepared to deploy. It’s a breathtaking vista, demonstrating the large-scale production that Paramount+ is bringing to the table to reflect the famous franchise’s cinematic essence. However, the trailer doesn’t reveal much other than the fact that this series is going all out to bring the FPS to life on the small screen.

Since the show’s inception, everyone involved has kept their cards close to their chest. Another teaser, published a few weeks ago, showed Master Chief in live-action wearing his distinctive green armor, but nothing else has been given in terms of footage. The show will be led by Pablo Schreiber as the Chief, with Jen Taylor reprising her role as Cortana and Natascha McElhone reprising her role as Spartan Program architect Dr. Halsey. The program will center on Master Chief and the UNSC’s struggle against the alien Covenant, while it will include some new characters in the shape of other Spartans portrayed by Bentley Kalu, Natasha Culzac, and Kate Kennedy.
