The final trailer for ‘Uncharted’ has been released by Sony.

The final trailer for Sony Pictures’ forthcoming action-adventure flick Uncharted has been released. Despite several films around it postponing in favor of a summer release, the long-awaited adaptation of the iconic video game franchise, starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, looks to be totally dedicated to its February 18 release date.

The one-and-a-half-minute trailer establishes the plot: Nathan Drake, Holland’s treasure hunter, hooks up with Mark Wahlberg’s Sully “to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan five hundred years ago.” According to Sully, the treasure is thought to be worth “$5 billion, easily.” But money and status aren’t Nathan’s only motivations for embarking on the journey; he also has personal motives for doing so. It is revealed that the mysterious Sully claims to know something about Nathan’s long-lost sibling.

The clip contains a lot of funny banter between Holland and Wahlberg, similar to how the Spider-Man actor and Robert Downey Jr. got along in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now that the final visual effects shots have been released, the trailer does a good job of enticing the franchise’s core fans with some recognizable action beats— particularly the aircraft scene that they’ve been pushing so hard in all their promotional material.
