The Super Mario Bros. Movie’s final trailer has arrived.

A star-studded voice cast for The Super Mario Bros. Movie includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Jack Black as Bowser, Charlie Day as Luigi, and Keegan-Michael Key as Donkey Kong (Toad).

Chris Meledandri, CEO of Illumination, the animation firm collaborating with Nintendo to produce the film, defended the studio’s controversial choice to cast Pratt as Mario. Meledandri stated, “All I can tell is that the voice he’s doing for us and Mario is phenomenal.

Fans’ reactions on hearing Anya as Princess Peach for the first time were overwhelmingly enthusiastic with the unveiling of a new trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Movie at the Nintendo Direct virtual presentation in November.

The script was written by Matthew Fogel, whose prior screenplay credits include Minions: The Rise of Gru and the curiously titled The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. The movie is directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic.

On April 5, the Super Mario Bros. movie opens in theaters.
