The cast of How I Met Your Mother spin-off How I Met Your Father has been revealed in a new picture.
On Thursday, the series, which will feature Hilary Duff as Sophie, released a portrait of the whole core cast (November 11).
According to Variety, the photo features Duff, Chris Lowell (who plays Jesse), Francia Raisa (who plays Valentina), Tom Ainsley (who plays Charlie), Tien Tran (who plays Ellen), and Suraj Sharma (who portrays Sid).
How I Met Your Father will follow the concept of the original program, with Sophie spending the whole series telling her son the tale of how she met his father.
The group is “in the process of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and infinite alternatives,” according to the show’s premise.
Kim Cattrall was just introduced as the future version of Duff’s character Sophie.
The series was conceived by co-showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger of This Is Us, with Carter Bays and Craig Thomas of How I Met Your Mother serving as producers.
The 10-episode series will debut on Hulu in the US in 2022.
