Season 4 of Stranger Things has released its first official trailer. It was eventually released on Tuesday, and it depicts where all of the characters have gone after the last season ended, as well as the new enormous monster they’ll fight in their upcoming journey. Season 4 of Stranger Things will premiere on Netflix on May 27.
The trailer looks to be mostly focused on establishing this season’s new blue monster, who appears to be bringing battle to Hawkins and maybe the rest of the Earth. Meanwhile, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is the only one who can stop him, but only if she can discover out how to reclaim her powers. The clip also reveals that this season will have a more traditional horror-movie feel to it, replete with a frightening haunted mansion for the youngsters to explore.
Season 4 of Stranger Things brings back almost everyone from the series, including David Harbour’s Jim Hopper, Winona Ryder’s Joyce Byers, Maya Hawke’s Robin, Joe Keery’s Steve, and Finn Wolfhard’s Mike Wheeler.
Stranger Things season 3 brings the Upside Down to Hawkins once again, in case you don’t remember what happened last time (because the show hasn’t been on since 2019). The plot revolved around the city’s Starcourt Mall, which served as the perfect cover for a clandestine Russian military outpost dedicated to paranormal research.
