Saudi Arabian club makes staggering offer to sign Cristiano Ronaldo

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner reportedly planned to leave Manchester United this summer, which cast doubt on whether he would stay for the duration of his two-year deal.

Ronaldo appears to be keen to continue playing in his beloved Champions League as he enters his final years of competition following the Red Devils’ worst-ever Premier League season.

But on Wednesday night, a surprising disclosure about a potential suitor for Ronaldo was made, keeping everyone waiting for clarity on what may end up being the summer’s biggest talking topic.

That’s because, according to the Express’ translation of a surprising report from CNN Portugal and TVI in Ronaldo’s home country, United have reportedly received a massive offer from a Saudi Arabian club for the star’s services.

It’s explained that an unnamed Saudi club “have since emerged as the surprise first bidders,” with their mind-boggling offer reported to give Ronaldo a total salary of £211 million over the course of two seasons.

That means roughly £105 million annually, £2 million weekly, £280,000 daily, £12,000 hourly, £200 minutely, and £3 secondly.
