Salt Bae has been banned from the US Open Cup as a result of his annoying World Cup antics.
The most prestigious and oldest soccer event in America has effectively banned Nusret Gökçe, the viral celebrity chef Salt Bae.
The US Open Cup took to Twitter and wrote, “Salt Bae is hereby banned from the 2023 @opencup Final.”
After the celebrity chef created a disturbance during the World Cup final, authorities took action against him.
When Argentina defeated France in the FIFA World Cup 2022 championship game in Doha, Salt bae managed to enter the field and approach Lionel Messi for a short photo.
To acquire a picture, he tap Messi on the shoulder. Messi, though, ignored him as soon as he realized who had touched him.
Even Angel di Maria, Leandro Paredes, Nicolas Otamendi, Paulo Dybala, Alexis MacAllister, and many other team members posed for photos with the Turkish salt sprinkler.
