During the opening sequence of Wednesday night’s WWE SmackDown episode, Ronda Rousey was ‘arrested’.
Following her SmackDown Women’s Championship fight with Liv Morgan at SummerSlam on July 30, Ronda Rousey was given a suspension and a fine by WWE.
Following her defeat in the match, Ronda confronted Morgan once more and then touched the referee, earning her a penalty.
Ronda missed one show of WWE TV before appearing on the broadcast the next week and throwing all of her hard-earned cash into the ring in a well-received segment.
In an effort to convince WWE Official Adam Pearce to reinstate her, Ronda made another appearance on SmackDown last night.
Rousey attacked the security officers that Adam had brought out with him after Pearce claimed he couldn’t do that.
The act of pretending that WWE was unaware that Ronda was in the building before the program actually began worked rather well, to be fair.
In a truly bizarre scene, Rousey actually broke one of the security guys’ arms. This was just another futile attempt by WWE to make Ronda look badass.
Rousey was restrained after hitting the security guards by the police officers Pearce had contacted, who then put her in a waiting car before driving her away.
