Around 8,000 supporters sung the Roma anthem while Paulo Dybala sat on the steps of one of the Eternal City’s most recognizable structures and soaked in the view.
During this evening’s emotional presenting ceremony at the Palazzo Della Civiltà Italiana, better known as the Colosseo Quadrato, Dybala had tears in her eyes.
He sat down cross-legged on the steps and took in the sight of 8,000 supporters chanting the Roma team hymn after thanking them for their welcome.
Before every home game at the Stadio Olimpico, it is sung by a lot more people, but rarely in such an extraordinary atmosphere.
Over 50,000 more people watched live on YouTube.
