Reebok’s Russian retail stores and e-commerce sites have been shut down

The latest company to speak out against Russia’s reckless invasion of Ukraine is Reebok.

Authentic Brands Group, the company’s parent, published a comment on the topic today.

“Over the last several weeks, we have been working closely with our partners to suspend all branded stores and e-commerce operations in Russia,” the statement reads. “In some cases, partner operations were suspended immediately. In other cases, due to contractual issues, the suspension of partner operations took longer to come into effect.”

Reebok was the only Authentic Brands Group brand still operating in Russia as of Saturday. ABG announced at the time that it was trying to close all of its storefronts and e-commerce sites, a commitment it kept just two days later.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and 7: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund, both striving to give emergency help to Ukraine, have received donations from ABG. Employee donations to the UNHCR will be matched 1:1 by the employer.
