Real Madrid sign 16-year-old Endrick from Brazil

Endrick, a 16-year-old Brazilian prodigy, has been signed by Real Madrid, it was formally revealed on Thursday. The Palmeiras attacker won’t be allowed to join Los Blancos until the summer of 2024, when he will turn 18 and be permitted to do so.

Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes, who both signed for Real Madrid at a young age, will be Endrick’s predecessors.

The kid was acquired by Los Blancos for 35 million euros, but if a few conditions are met in the future, his transfer may be worth 60 million euros.

Elite European teams other than Real Madrid indicated interest in signing Endrick. The Brazilian forward was also being pursued by Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Barcelona, but Los Blancos ultimately prevailed in their pursuit of him.

The player and his parents were first invited to the club’s training facility in Valdebebas and the Spanish capital by representatives of Real Madrid. Their bond became stronger over time until the final accord was made.
