Rapper Young Dolph is shot and killed at the age of 36

 

According to Fox13, WREG, and Billboard, Memphis artist Young Dolph was shot and died.

According to reports, the incident took occurred at Makeda’s Butter Cookies on 2370 Airways in Memphis. The Memphis Police Department said on Twitter that “preliminary information indicates” that Dolph was shot there. According to the business’s proprietor, Dolph entered the store to buy cookies when someone drove up and shot the rapper. Dolph was 36 years old at the time.

In the late 2000s, Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr., better known as Young Dolph, released his debut mixtape, Paper Route Campaign. He went on to gain regional notoriety for his consistent production, which included the High-Class Street Music mixtape series, which drew the attention of hip-hop luminaries like Gucci Mane.
