Comedian Dave Chappelle starred alongside the Foo Fighters at Madison Square Garden in a rendition of Radiohead’s 1993 hit, “Creep”.
As reported by Hypebeast, the event goes down as the first sold-out, full-capacity concert at the MSG since COVID-19 as the music industry has suffered greatly since the pandemic.
Lead singer Dave Grohl joined Chappelle on June 20th, who was donning sunglasses, on stage they covered “Creep” as every fan sang along.
It’s not the first time that Chappelle has delved into the world of live music shows having been part of a half-an-hour concert at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival where stars such as A$AP Ferg, Q-Tip, Ghostface Killah, De La Soul, Redman,Talib Kweli, and DJ Clark Kent performed.
At the end of the festival, Chappelle said that everyone should “commit to being kind to one another,” and that “They cannot break us apart, no matter what our country says, no matter what any corporation says. We will help each other get through tough times. New York City, I love you so much.”
