Pete Davidson ‘In Talks’ To Join Jeff Bezos In Space

Pete Davidson, a comedian and actor, is apparently in talks with Jeff Bezos about joining Blue Origin on its next space flight. Davidson would join a select club of celebrities who have traveled to space, including William Shatner and Michael Strahan, if he is offered a spot on board.

Davidson’s trip to space is still in the works and hasn’t been confirmed, according to a CNN insider. An announcement might come in the coming weeks. “Pete is excited. They haven’t signed a contract yet, but it looks like it’s going to happen. The details are being finalized. He got on really well with Jeff when they met.” according to a Page Six source.

“Pete Davidson is in talks with Jeff Bezos to go on the next Blue Origin ride but nothing is set yet. It’s just conversations. And it’s still early.” a People insider said. It’s basically a series of discussions. And it’s only 9 a.m.”

According to CNN, Blue Origin’s suborbital flight travels 62 miles above the earth, which is seen as the edge of space. Bezos hopes to help pioneer space tourism and had a successful voyage last year, but billionaire Sir Richard Branson accomplished the feat first, taking a Virgin Galactic ship just nine days prior.
