Pete Davidson Allegedly in Therapy After Kanye West Drama

Davidson reportedly sought trauma therapy earlier this year “in large part” as a result of social media posts from Ye, who earlier this year shared a number of IG updates centered on Davidson (as well as made reference to him in his and The Game’s “Eazy” track and claymation video). This information was shared by People on Monday night.

“The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he’s had to seek out help,” an individual described as an “insider” said in Monday’s report, which claimed Davidson had been utilizing such services since April.

Ye had earlier on Monday used the nickname “Skete” frequently to refer to the actor and comedian during his (apparently since-ended) relationship with Kim. Ye shared and later deleted the photoshopped image of a Pete and Kid Cudi-poking New York Times front page with the headline “SKETE DAVIDSON DEAD AT AGE 28.”

All of this occurs as A24’s Bodies, Bodies, Bodies, the Halina Reijn-directed slasher starring Davidson and also starring Amandla Stenberg, Myha’la Herrold, Maria Bakalova, Chase Sui Wonders, and Rachel Sennott, opens in theaters. The critically acclaimed movie is not the only project on Davidson’s ever-expanding schedule, though. Soon, viewers may catch the former SNL star with Kaley Cuoco in the romantic comedy Meet Cute and in the untitled television series Bupkis, which is claimed to be inspired on Davidson’s actual life.
