Patrick Beverley has been fined with a one-game suspension after shoving Chris Paul during Game 6 of the Western Conference finals as the Los Angeles Clippers lost 130-103 against the Phoenix Suns at the STAPLES Center.
As reported by Shams Charania on Twitter, the Clippers guard will miss the first game of his team’s 2021/22 campaign due to being knocked out of the play-offs on Sunday night.
Beverley was instantly ejected from the game during the fourth quarter as Paul sunk a three-pointer. During the timeout, Beverley pushed Paul with the cameras recording the footage. There was almost a big fight between the two but match officials quickly got in the way.
Clippers guard Patrick Beverley has been suspended one game without pay for an unsportsmanlike act for forcefully pushing Suns guard Chris Paul.
