Osman Bukari steals Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘SIUU’ celebration after scoring against Portugal

With his goal against Ghana, Cristiano Ronaldo broke the World Cup record, but he wasn’t pleased with how Osman Bukari celebrated on the sidelines.

When Ghana threatened an unexpected comeback in a thrilling World Cup match at Stadium 974 just moments after Cristiano Ronaldo was substituted, he could hardly believe it.

Ronaldo, the captain of Portugal, scored a contentious penalty in the 65th minute after being adjudged to have been tripped by Southampton defender Mohamed Salisu, becoming him the first player to score in five different World Cups.

The 37-year-old, whose contract with Manchester United was mutually ended last week, scored Portugal’s opening goal from the penalty spot to start an incredible final 30 minutes of play.

Osman Bukari of Ghana, who had been substituted in the 88th minute to a standing ovation, headed in a goal for the 2016 European Champions.

Despite the fact that his team was still down a goal, Bukari broke away from his teammates and ran to the corner flag to celebrate like Cristiano Ronaldo had done after scoring the penalty, much to the joy of the fans.

The Stadium 974 big screen then abruptly changed to show Ronaldo grinning angrily while seated on the bench, perhaps in response to the goal’s seeming concession rather than Bukari’s celebration.
