Nike recently sued Bape, and now the Oregon sportswear company is suing Lululemon for patent infringement.

In the southern district of New York, the company filed a lawsuit Wednesday, claiming that some of Lululemon’s lifestyle sneakers violate its Flyknit technology patent. The Chargefeel Mid, Chargefeel Low, Blissfeel, and Strongfeel sneakers, at least, are among Lululemon’s allegedly infringing items, according to Nike, which emphasizes its Flyknit-related patents in the lawsuit.

The renowned Flyknit technology, including the way the knit’s webbed and tubular sections function and stretch on the aforementioned sneakers, as well as the way flat-knitting is used to structure the seams of the uppers, are all allegedly infringed upon by Lululemon’s textile knitting techniques according to the lawsuit filed by Nike.

Nike has already brought a patent infringement lawsuit to protect the invention of Flyknit. The Swoosh sued Adidas for patent infringement in 2012, alleging that the Three Stripes’ Primeknit stole components of the knit technology. In 2016, Nike filed a lawsuit against Skechers, alleging infringement of the company’s Flyknit patents.

Nike filed a lawsuit against Lululemon at about the same time last year for violating a patent relating to their Mirror home gym system and associated smartphone apps.
