Nas Drops His Anticipated ‘King’s Disease III’ Album

With the third entry in his King’s Disease series, Nas is back.

When he gave fans his 15th studio album, Magic, in the latter half of 2021, the East Coast icon started to tease the upcoming project. “I’m on offense every day until I see the love,” he rapped in the song “Ugly,” “KD3 on the way, this is just to feed the buzz.”

While some listeners might not have picked up on the King’s Disease III announcement at first, Nas’ frequent partner Hit-Boy took it upon himself to draw attention to the lyrics on Twitter while also calling the rapper a “maniac” (in a good way). The Grammy-winning producer provided few information, but it was evident from his tweet that he played a significant role in the project.

Nas and Hit-Boy have since announced the King’s Disease III tracklist and cover image. The album contains 17 songs, including the bonus track “Til My Last Breath,” “Ghetto Reporter,” “Recession Proof,” “I’m on Fire,” “Once a Man, Twice a Child,” and “Don’t Shoot.”
