Messi and Mbappe team up to score for PSG against Lille in under eight seconds

As Paris St. Germain crushed Lille to maintain their winning start to the season, Kylian Mbappe scored after just eight seconds on his way to a hat-trick.

The visitors fed Lionel Messi, who then flicked the ball over the Lille defense for Mbappe to dink past Leo Jardim in a move off the training pitch.

Before Neymar scored twice, Messi added a second and Achraf Hakimi added a third.

After the break, Mbappe added two more goals as Jonathan Bamba gave the hosts a chance to respond.

PSG now leads Ligue 1 after scoring 16 goals in their first three victories in their title defense thanks to their largest win against Lille, the team that dethroned them in France in 2020โ€“21.

Following this crushing home loss, Lille drops to 12th place.
