Dave Meyers (who has directed videos for Kendrick Lamar, Normani, Drake, Ariana Grande, and Taylor Swift) directed the video, and Meg is credited with coming up with the concept. It’s based on “Hansel and Gretel,” however one of the rooms is constructed with butts instead of sweets. According to Meg’s label, the song is the first taster from her next album.
