McDonald’s Employee In US Shot In The Neck Over Cold French Fries

Police said Friday that a 23-year-old McDonald’s employee who was fatally shot during an argument that reportedly began with a complaint of cold fries has now passed away.

According to a local report from New York station WPIX, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) on Friday confirmed the gunshot victim’s death. The incident took place earlier this week at a fast food restaurant location in Brooklyn.

According to accounts, the person, 23-year-old Matthew Webb, was shot in the neck on Monday night outside the restaurant. He was shot, according to police authorities, by a man whose mother and he had argued verbally about the temperature at which the fries were supplied.

A physical altercation between Webb and the suspect, 20-year-old Michael Morgan, is said to have culminated in Webb being shot. In connection with the McDonald’s shooting, Morgan has been charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a firearm, according to an announcement made on Wednesday by NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell.
