Jack Butland, the goalkeeper for Crystal Palace, is in talks with Manchester United about a transfer to Old Trafford.
After Newcastle United shortened Martin Dubravka’s loan period, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is in need of a backup goalkeeper for David de Gea.
Butland has been a member of Crystal Palace since 2020, however he has only appeared in 10 Premier League games and hasn’t played yet this year.
The 29-year-Selhurst old’s Park contract is up in the summer.
Butland was a member of Gareth Southgate’s team at the 2018 World Cup and has nine England caps.
He hasn’t played regularly in the Premier League though since Stoke City’s relegation in 2018.
