Man City and Erling Haaland have agreed terms on a £500,000-per-week contract

Man City and Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland have allegedly agreed on a summer transfer.

This season, the 21-year-old has 25 goals in 26 appearances in all competitions.

He is one of the most sought-after strikers in the world, and a release clause will make him available for £63 million in the summer.

The Norwegian international has been connected with Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, and Manchester City.

With a five-year contract anticipated to be signed ‘in the next week or so,’ the youthful striker will become the highest-paid player in the Premier League.

Alf-Inge, his father, was a City player and has been active in talks.

In today’s market, £63 million for a player of Haaland’s caliber is considered as a steal and will not be a stumbling block for the Premier League champions.

Speaking to Sport and Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona legend Dani Alves insisted that he would choose PSG’s Kylian Mbappe over Haaland.

“I wouldn’t go all out for Haaland. Honestly, I wouldn’t spend a lot of money on him,” Alves said.

“On Mbappe yes, but not on Haaland. I’m playing sporting director, eh, but I’d go for Mbappe first, I think he’s more complete in every aspect.

“If you’re going to make a huge investment, you have to make it in the best. If it was up to me, I’d go for. He’s the best there is, and for Barcelona’s style, at the moment, in football, there is no-one better than him.”
