The 64-year-old pop star joined a popular trend on TikTok on Sunday in which fans declare their homosexuality by attempting to shoot an object into a trash can before widely missing.
In the brief video, Madonna throws a pair of undies that she has bunched up towards a trash can, missing by a few inches.
Below are the words “If I miss, I’m Gay!” Madonna tosses her palm in the air after missing the opportunity to get the shot, then gives the camera a knowing glance as she turns to leave.
Naturally, this isn’t the first time Madonna has made a suggestion about her sexual preferences. She asserted that “everyone has a bisexual nature” in an interview she gave to the LGBT+ publication The Advocate in 1991. “That is my hypothesis. I might be wrong,” she continued.
Madonna’s teasing comes a few months after the singer ended her three-year relationship with Ahlamalik Williams. She has been married twice throughout the course of her career, first to Sean Penn for four years (1985 to 1989) and again to Guy Ritchie for eight years (2000 to 2008).
