Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah scores a spectacular solo goal against Watford

 

So far this season, the Egyptian striker has been the Premier League’s top performer, and he put up another outstanding performance against Watford on Saturday lunchtime.

In the ninth minute, Salah provided a beautiful pass for Sadio Mane, who scored the game’s first goal.

Liverpool went up 3-0 early in the second half as Roberto Firmino scored twice either side of halftime.

By the 54th minute, Liverpool’s star player had scored a goal of spectacular individual quality.

Salah wriggled past several Watford players after receiving the ball from Firmino inside the box, before cutting back and slamming the ball into the far corner of the net past the helpless Ben Foster.

“Come on, who is better than him?” Klopp said. “We don’t have to talk about what Messi and Ronaldo have done for world football and their dominance but, right now, he is the best.
