The new song “City of Gods,” which includes Kanye West and Alicia Keys, has been released by Fivio Foreign.
Fivio and Ye previously collaborated on the Donda album track “Off the Grid.” Indeed, Ye applauded the drill rapper for his outstanding stanza, according to Fivio, who claims Ye compared him to Jay-Z. When Fivio asked Ye who he sounds like, he was having dinner with Yeezy, Lil Yachty, and Pusha T, among others. “‘Yo, I got it—[Jay-Z],’ [Kanye] says,” Fivio says. “I’m like, ‘Hov?'” she says. ‘Hov!’ he exclaims.
Fivio told his fans on Twitter around the time Donda arrived that Ye is “doin my album.” Yeezy will executive produce Fivio’s debut album, The Bible, which will be released later this year, according to The Shade Room.
Fivio, who is at the forefront of the Brooklyn drill movement, recently replied to those who want to ban drill music off New York radio by saying, “It’s not the music that’s killing people, it’s the music that’s helping n****s from the hood get out of the ghetto,” according to TMZ.
