Lionel Messi scores five goals against Estonia in friendly

Argentina defeated Estonia 5-0, with Lionel Messi scoring five goals.

Messi delivered an absolute masterclass after a spectacular performance in Argentina’s 3-0 triumph against Italy in the Finalissima at Wembley.

He scored from the penalty spot after eight minutes, slamming the ball into the bottom corner past Matvei Igonen.

He made it 2-0 on the stroke of halftime with a superb finish from a tight angle.

He completed his hat-trick minutes after the interval with a stunning volley from a Nahuel Molina cross.

Messi, on the other hand, wasn’t done yet.

In strange circumstances, he scored his fourth goal with 20 minutes left to make it 4-0.

As the ball went to Messi, Estonia’s defense assumed the referee had blown his whistle and looked to come to a halt. Messi, on the other hand, did not pause, as he sat the goalie quietly on the ground before completing.

The ball dropped sweetly to him inside the penalty area minutes later, and he completed for the FIFTH time.

Messi had a dismal debut season with Paris Saint-Germain in 2021/22, scoring only six goals in Ligue 1.

However, the 34-year-old has demonstrated that he is still one of the top players in the world this week for Argentina.

His performance against Italy was outstanding, and he was instrumental in Argentina’s victory at Wembley.
