“Space Cadet,” a brand-new song that Lil Uzi Vert uploaded on his SoundCloud page in the early hours of Saturday, has surprised fans.
Uzi is clearly in his comfort zone on the bass-heavy track, seamlessly switching between more rapid-fire flows and a sing-song approach for the chorus. It’s a powerful song that seems built specifically for live performances.
Fans may anticipate hearing “Space Cadet” on the project when it comes because the cover on SoundCloud appears to be the same artwork that Uzi teased when he revealed the Red & White EP. He implied that the EP is only a preview of greater things to come when he unveiled the artwork. He continued, referring to his impending full-length project that he had previously announced, “Before the P!NK.”
Since the release of Eternal Atake and its deluxe version, which included Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World 2, Uzi has not released a solo full-length. He collaborated with Future for Pluto x Baby Pluto in the same year.
