Lil Pump took to Instagram on Sunday to squash reports suggesting that the rapper owed the IRS $90,000 in back taxes.
Rumours from last week first circulated after a report from Radar Online, who obtained court documents stating that Lil Pump was yet to pay a tax bill dating from 2019. The files claimed that the 20-year-old owed the government $89,378.68.
A lien had allegedly been placed on Pump’s $5 million Miami mansion and if the money wasn’t going to be paid up, the property and his assets would potentially be seized.
However, Pump was quick to deny these allegations when posting a video on Instagram:
