Like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul’s final season will be split into two parts

Rhea Seehorn, one of the performers of AMC’s Better Call Saul, stated in an interview with Variety that the show’s sixth and final season will be split into two parts. Season Six will consist of 13 episodes and will premiere in the first quarter of 2022.

Better Call Saul is a criminal drama series that is both a prequel and a spin-off of AMC’s hugely successful Breaking Bad. Characters from Breaking Bad appear in the series, including Bob Odenkirk’s titular conman and lawyer Saul Goodman, Jonathan Banks’ Mike Ehrmantraut, and Giancarlo Esposito’s Gus Fring, as well as numerous new characters. Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, and Tony Dalton round out the cast.

Seehorn, who portrays Kim Wexler, Saul’s legal partner, didn’t say much about the future season or the character’s fate. She did, however, clarify that Odenkirk, who had a heart attack in July of this year, was doing well. Seehorn complimented the new season in the interview, calling it “insane” and “going to blow people’s minds.”
