LA Shelter disappointed with Kanye for not delivering promises he made

According to reports, Kanye West’s alleged inability to follow through on pledges he made to the homeless charity L.A. Mission in an effort to address the city’s housing issue has angered the group.

Kanye, who met with L.A. Mission CEO Troy Vaughn in November to discuss specific ways he might help the homeless, expressed his concern for them on Instagram on Friday. As the main inspiration for all design, West remarked, “look to the children, look to the homeless.”

According to TMZ, sources close to L.A. Mission allege that since the Chicago rapper visited with city authorities last year, not much has been achieved, and the charity group has grown irritated with Ye’s lack of action.

“We’re told folks from the Mission have attempted to contact Ye several times since the meeting, to no avail,” the outlet reported.

Kanye unveiled strategies to address Los Angeles’ escalating homelessness issue in November. He collaborated with L.A. Mission a few days later to bring 1,000 Thanksgiving Eve dinners on Skid Row.
