Eight outfits made of premium Japanese neoprene opened the program, which was accompanied by BFRND and the Budapest Scoring Orchestra performing Gustave Rudman’s “Love in E Minor.” Balenciaga’s leather-lined milled aluminum Bang & Olufsen speaker bag was prominently displayed throughout the show.
Models wore coated polyurethane face shields designed by the team at Mercedes-AMG F1 Applied Science for many of the looks in the show, which is Demna’s second couture collection for Balenciaga.
