After injuring himself during the pregame warmup against Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant will have to wait at least three additional weeks before making his Phoenix Suns debut at home.

Before the Suns defeated the Thunder 132-101 in the NBA, Durant injured his left ankle.

The 34-year-old was acquired by Phoenix in a deal with the Brooklyn Nets in February.

Durant made his NBA debut for the Suns, who are currently second in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference, scoring 23 points against Charlotte and averaging 26.7 points over his last three away games.

The forward is having a difficult season owing to injuries; while playing for Brooklyn, he already missed over eight weeks due to a knee sprain.

During the reigning champion Golden State Warriors’ loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, authorities had to keep feuding rivals Dillon Brooks and Draymond Green apart.

The two engaged in a heated argument in the second quarter of the Grizzlies’ 131-110 victory after exchanging comments in the lead-up to the game.

Memphis, without star point guard Ja Morant, who is suspended for reportedly brandishing a gun in a nightclub, scored 48 points in the first quarter to lay the groundwork for the victory.

Warriors, who have won the championship in six of the last eight seasons, have dropped eight straight games away from home, dropping their road record to 7-26 with yet another loss.

The Milwaukee Bucks increased their advantage over the rest of the Eastern Conference by defeating Brooklyn 118-113 to raise their record to 48-18.

Sacramento Kings defeated the New York Knicks 122-117 by a razor-thin margin, while the Indiana Pacers defeated the Houston Rockets 134-125 in overtime.
