Kanye West sued for $7 Million million over unpaid concert production fees

Kanye West is being sued by production company Phantom Labs for allegedly failing to pay $7.1 million in concert costs.

Phantom Labs, according to TMZ, worked with Ye on a number of projects between June 2021 and March 2022, including his “Free Larry Hoover” benefit concert with Drake and a listening party for Donda 2. The business also worked on four of his Sunday Service concerts and pre-produced the performance he was supposed to give at Coachella in 2022, but he decided against it. Phantom Labs claims Ye and his crew are playing them for fools despite accepting cash at first.

The company says it has a $6 million bill from their time working with Kanye that West hasn’t paid. The organization was subsequently charged an additional $1.1 million in cancellation costs not long after he postponed his Coachella performance with only two weeks till the festival’s start. Phantom Labs is bringing a claim for contract breach against the multi-hyphenate, asking for the unpaid $7.1 million as well as other unspecified damages.
