Over the weekend, Kanye West sent a special message to his followers in the United Kingdom.
Ye mentioned the passing of Queen Elizabeth II in a series of Instagram Stories updates, adding that he had also lost his queen.
“London I know how you feel I lost my queen too,” Ye said.
While some have since theorized the tweet was meant to be a shot at Kim Kardashian, others have thought Ye was making a point to his late mother Donda. Whatever the case, Ye has cited Elizabeth II before.
For instance, earlier this month Ye uploaded several images of the late queen and declared he was “releasing all grudges” since he understood how valuable life is. Ye has also previously released an altered image of her wearing YZY SHDZ and featured her in an advertisement for the increasingly popular accessory on Instagram.
