DMX, his birth name Earl Simmons, had his casket carried to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on a monster truck on Saturday with the vehicle leading bikers from the rapper’s hometown of Yonkers.
The proceedings of DMX’s memorial service were shown live on BET and online through his YouTube channel while the physical event was restricted to his family and friends.

The agenda of the service included a performance from Kanye West and the Sunday Service Choir as well as a eulogy by Nas, among several speeches from the co-founders of the Ruff Ryders label. A further private funeral service for DMX commenced on Sunday, April 25th.
